Rigging up (inflation, connecting lines, harness and how it works). Launching (off the beach). Landing (on the beach). Basic Flying movement, explanation of the window, etc. Getting kitted out (choosing the wetsuit, buoyancy aid, crash helmet). Finally body dragging downwind and gaining confidence in the water.

Kite recovery and emergency pack down Kite re-launching Theory on rights of way Theory on tides, water currents, and weather Theory on choosing a safe location to kite Water starting and riding position The 2 day IKO Level 1 course is also available to clients who have already done a course with North Wales Kitesurfing or another school, and for some reason did not complete their course or would like to re-cap on their skills. We can tailor the weekend to your needs, but you will have to show your current IKO Kiteboarders card showing your skill level. Entry Requirements: Must be able to swim
*Preparing for a Waterwork session with the tide in at Kinmel Bay* Click on the photo for more info	IKO Level 2 Intermediate Kitesurfing Lessons This course is aimed at people who have done a beginner kitesurfing course with North Wales Kitesurfing or elsewhere, and for one reason or another were unable to complete it or feel they would like to recap on the water work to boost their confidence. They know all the theory, are competent beach flyers but just need to cover body dragging and getting on the board. This is a one day course and will run on Saturdays, Sundays, and during the week upon request. Entry requirements: Must be IKO Level 1 competant Clients must also show their IKO Kiteboarders card showing their skill level.

Times of courses will change due to the tide.	IKO Level 3 Kitesurfing School Club If you would like more practice getting up on your board and would like to improve your riding skills whilst receiving tips from our staff, this would be the perfect Club membership for you. As seen in the photo when the Tide goes in and out a Lagoon is created. This is perfect for practicing your Boardwork without going out to sea.This is a yearly membership to the Club with a one off payment of £195 for the year and you can come down as much as you like when lessons are on. We can progress you through your kitesurfing to performing your first tricks. Entry Requirements: Must be IKO Level 1 + 2 proficient and ready to progress Clients must also show their IKO Kiteboarders card showing their skill level.
