Kuba Neneman IKO Level 2 Kiteboarding Instructor

Kuba is studying Political Economy at the University of Birmingham, where he also works as a vice President of the Kitesurfing Society. He has been kiteboarding for over 6 years with 3 years experience as a kiteboarding instructor. Before he commited himself to teaching, he was a Polish pro rider with a couple of serious achievements in professional competitions, so he can give some tips not only on how to improve your waterstart, but also how to land your first power handle pass! He is also a fully licensed Water Rescuer, has a powerboat and yachting license. Friendly and approachable, he loves meeting new people, especially from abroad, as foreign languages are his second passion. Kuba is a very strong part of the NWK Pro Team!

John Shingler IKO Level 2 Kiteboarding Instructor

Having been bought up in Birmingham away from the sea my first board sport experience was skateboarding back when I was 15. At the age of 19 I tried snowboarding, thinking I could do bigger tricks and more spins than skateboarding but without the pain. So wrong! It still hurts. I went on to become a snowboard instructor 8 years ago which I continue to enjoy. Around 5 years ago I had a go on a friend's powerkite and was instantly hooked. When I got to grips with the kite I learn to Kite Landboard, then soon after tried it on the water and loved it even more! Since then I have completed the IKO Snowkite Instructor Course and then 1 year ago the IKO Kiteboarding Instructor Qualification.  I have recently progressed to a Level 2 Water Instructor, and am looking forward to becoming a Level 2 Senior - so watch out Steve!

Neil Cowan IKO Assistant Instructor

Neil was one of our first customers and Steve qualified him as an Assistant Kitesurf Instructor. He has a great passion for Kitesurfing and Surfing and is a great teacher.
