Waterwork
Lessons With North Wales Kitesurfing
Waterwork
is an essential part of Kitesurfing. There is no point
trying to get on a board before you are confident with
all your drills from re-launching the Kite to emergency
pack down and self recovery. Some parts are easier to
learn than others, so you can work on anything specific
on a waterwork day. We have met a few clients who can
ride well yet have never done an emergency pack down
and recovery.
At
Kinmel Bay beach we have Lagoons which make it easier
to practice in shallow water. And once you have covered
everything we will pass you a Board and let you pracice
your water starts and riding downwind.
So
if there is anything you feel you need to work on this
would be the course for you, it is run on a Saturday
or Sunday depending on availability. All equipment is
provided, but if you do have your own feel free to bring
it along. We will do a safety check on your Kite for
you to make sure it is in good working order, and that
it is a suitable size for yourself. Plus it's always
good to get used to your own kit.
One
rule to go by when purchasing your first set of kit,
go for a small North Kite and a big North Board!
