Wales IKO Pro Kitesurfing School
We
have setup our South Wales Kitesurfing School. The lessons
will start in March and will take place at Coney Beach.
Coney Beach is at the heart of Porthcawl and sits on
Sandy Bay, which is one of seven bays at this historical
South Wales seaside town. The Parks' own beach is nearly
a mile long and a magnet for surfers and bathers alike
with lifeguards on duty during the summer months. We
have already taught here and it has great conditions
for learning to kitesurf.
If
Coney Beach gets busy we can train at the quieter more
spacious Rest Bay as seen above. The kitesurfing lessons
will run as a 2 Day Beginners course and all equipment
will be provided except Neoprene Boots and Gloves which
you will need for when you go into the Water. Wetsuits
will be provided if you dont have your own so please
let us know your size upon booking your course. We will
be using the 2012 North Kites and kiteboards on your
lessons and you will be taught by experienced and fully
qualified IKO/BKSA kitesurfing Instructors.
Lessons
will be 4 to 5hrs long depending on the tides and season.
The lesson times are defaulted 9 to 5 and get changed
a coiuple of weeks before the course to match the tides.
